Rules for Admission
Children from above the age of 3 years will be admitted to L.K.G.
For admission to 1st standard the child should have completed 5 years of age.
Admission will be made strictly on MERIT BASIS, on satisfactory performance in entrance test.
Admissions are normally made to L.K.G. Registration forms will be issued at the school office during the 3rd week of January. It is important to furnish correct details in the registration form. The registration forms must be carefully filled up and submitted to the school office within seven days from the date of issue.
The Xerox copies of the following certificates must be attached to the registration form:
a. Corporation / Municipal Birth Certificate.
b. Community Certificate for ST, SC, Most backward and other backward classes.
c. If catholic,parish membership card.
Age : 3+ on 1 st June. (The child along with the parents will be interviewed)
Parents are requested to check the Office Notice Board in the Second Week Of January for admissions.
U.K.G. To Std. IX
Admissions to these classes are made when vacancies occur.
Age for admission :
4+ for UKG on 1st June.
5+ for I Std. on 1st June.
Written entrance examinations in subjects English, Maths and Tamil will be conducted. The Xerox copies of the Birth Certificate, Community Certificate and attested marks of the Half-yearly examination must be enclosed with the application. The originals of the above certificate must be brought at the time of Interview. At the time of admission original T.C must be produced.
N.B : For students coming from other streams of education like the C.B.S.E., Anglo – Indians or State Board, the transfer certificate should be countersigned by the respective inspecting authorities.
Marks scored in Std. X half – yearly and public examination will be the criteria for admission.
At the time of admission the following certificates must be produced.
a. Original Transfer Certificate.
b. Original Mark sheet of Std. X final examination.
c. Original conduct certificate.
d. Xerox copy of community certificate.
N.B :- Issue of the registration form is not a guarantee for admission.
Pupils for admission must be accompanied by both the parents or guardians who must sign the prescribed admission form and pledge to abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
