Co – Curricular Activities

The student's personality, initiative and originality are given full scope in creative or co-curricular activities and by involvement and participation in youth movements, clubs, sports and games.

Physical Education

Physical benefits often have an impact on emotional well-being, which can help improve student's school performance. Playing sports with classmates can motivate and help students with their confidence, as they can engage in friendly competition and form new friendship groups by working with a new group of children. Variety of sports like Handball, Athletics, Volleyball, Kho – Kho and Yoga is provided by the school. Every pupil must take part in school games and other sports activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Principal.

Scouts & Guides

The scouts and guides activities are held on Saturdays from 3 to 5 pm. There are three terminal camps lasting five days each. Parents who want their wards to benefit from the scout/guide training must cooperate with the scout master/guide captain by sending their wards to all the scout and guide activities. All the students of Std IV and V are encouraged to join cubs and bulbuls. Students of Std VI to VIII can join scout and guide, JRC and RSP.

School Band

Our school band is more than an adventure. It is a way of life. School band ensures increased coordination, builds imagination and intellectual curiosity and a strong emotional development. It also gives a sense of achievement and self-confidence. High school children are encouraged to join the school band. Our school band has achieved so many laurels and championships in many competitions.

School Choir

Singing helps children's memories. Practicing musical patterns and rhythms helps form neurological pathways, with huge implications for children's learning. Our school choir increases creative self expression and performing arts is a part of well rounded education.

RSP

Our school’s Road Safety Patrol instils road sense in the cadets and trains them to regulate traffic on the roads. Regular training camps and traffic regulatory activities are conducted round about the academic year.

JRC

Our school inculcates the seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross; humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality in students through JRC.

Counselling & Family Apostolate

A free mind stimulates an individual to progress towards desirable goals. But the serenity of the mind is often disturbed by worldly cares, worries, anxieties, family conflicts etc. A golden opportunity is provided for every child and his family members by the school counselling centre which helps them to face these problems with indomitable courage. It serves them as the best panacea for mental conflicts and provides prolific counsel which enables them to increase their mental, spiritual and moral strength and to overcome the struggles in a constructive manner. Adhering to these counsels, students and their families gain hope and confidence and their minds are set to strengthen the family bonds under the spiritual guidance of the counselling centre.
